Introduction: The start of a horrible misadventure.

Hello, my name is Distrotion and I will be talking about my adventures in Fallout: New Vegas. I've only recently gotten into Fallout, mainly playing Fallout 3. I had tried the game before, but never gotten completely engrossed in it like I have now. So, after beating the main quest and doing a few side quests, I felt it was time to take a break and try out Fallout:New Vegas.
I had actually tried playing it before while I was having troubles with Fallout 3, though never got far due to fear of spoilers(I thought that New Vegas was a sequel, blame my ignorance for that). Well, irony is one lovely mistress, seeing as I now face the worst of all RPG bugs: The inability to save. For some reason, I'm incapable of saving my game, no matter the character. I have no clue where this issue come from either.
Now, to be completely honest, it would probably only take me a few minutes on Google to figure out what's wrong and fix it. Hell, it's probably as simple as re-installing the game or moving the save files to a different location. However, after reading "The Martian", I chose to use this as an opportunity to play the game in a way I would never usually play it.
I will be creating new characters, one at a time, and playing through their awful wasteland lives. What I mean by this is that if they die, they are gone, completely dead, "Kaput" as one could say. The main reason for this is the above mentioned issue with my game, though part of it is simply me wanting to experiment and see how much I can discover, and how well I can survive against the odds.
I will post the stories of the brave/stupid/weird wanderers of the waste which I create, mostly as logs and journals, detailing where they come from as well as who they are.
Now, follow me, as we travel through this broken land known as Fallout: New Vegas.
